Goed Gemaakt

From Dutch soil to measurable impact

Goed Gemaakt is an initiative by Food Pioneers that directly connects farmers, suppliers and foodservice companies.

Together, we make existing products more sustainable by working with Dutch crops and side streams – resulting in less waste, more biodiversity and an accelerated protein transition.

Sustainable dishes with local vegetables from Flevoland, made by Goed Maak for food service.

From residual flows to tasty solutions

What Goed Gemaakt delivers

For farmers: new sales channels, fair prices and recognition for local and regenerative work.

For suppliers and wholesalers: guidance in making products more sustainable, a distinctive product range and new applications, all supported with impact data.

Why Goed Gemaakt matters

In the Netherlands, there is growing attention for collaboration across the food chain.

Goed Gemaakt turns that ambition into action, with tangible results for the protein transition, biodiversity and the reduction of food waste.

By connecting producers, processors and buyers, we make sustainability both concrete and measurable.

How Goed Gemaakt works

We connect the chain in three steps and provide clear impact data for each product to support reporting and communication.

Harvest & raw material
Farmers supply crops or side streams that fit within a sustainable food system.

Product development & processing
Our partners and suppliers turn these raw materials into distinctive, scalable products or ingredients.

Implementation in foodservice
Each trajectory generates impact data that can be used directly in sustainability reporting and communication.

This way, products gain not only impact value, but also storytelling value – on the plate and in your brand communication.

Two ways to get involved

Route A – Local swaps
Direct sourcing of local raw materials such as field beans, potatoes or seasonal vegetables.

We safeguard quality, volumes and logistics so you can make your offer more sustainable with ease.

Route B – Reformulation via existing suppliers
We help your suppliers and processors replace (parts of) ingredients with local or regenerative alternatives.

They remain your supplier, while we guide the process and monitor feasibility and impact.

Why this is important

In Flevoland, food production, innovation, and sustainability converge. With Goedgemaakt, we're making that connection tangible: we're strengthening local supply chains, reducing waste, and building a future-proof food system together.
