Are you working on a sustainable food system and have a great idea you want to develop further, but lack the time, knowledge, or budget to truly take it further? Food Pioneers' knowledge vouchers can help you get started with research, guidance, and training, fully tailored to your needs and organization.
Which voucher suits you?
1. Knowledge voucher – Practice-oriented research
For entrepreneurs with a specific innovation challenge but without their own R&D department. Together with a knowledge institution like Aeres University of Applied Sciences or Wageningen University & Research, you'll explore how your idea works in practice, for example, in a new product, a more sustainable process, or a more efficient working method. This aligns directly with our action research approach.
Up to €7,500 in support for applied research
Co-financing : you contribute 25% yourself (in money, hours or resources)
Guidance with your business case via Horizon Flevoland
For whom? Flevoland companies in the food sector without their own research capacity, but with ambition.
2. Knowledge & Development Voucher – Research + Team Development
Do you want to not only innovate but also involve your team in this change process? This voucher combines applied research with training, mentoring, and team development, in collaboration with SOL . For a truly sustainable implementation, with a direct connection to the Food Campus .
Maximum €7,500 support for applied research
You invest between €4,500 and €12,500 yourself
SOL will double this, depending on your own contribution, up to a total package of up to €30,000
Research by a knowledge institution, training and guidance via SOL
For whom? Food sector companies in (or with an impact in) Flevoland, committed to sustainable growth and team development.
Including an optional Learning Culture Scan : for insight into your organization's learning and development culture, with a total trajectory value of €35,000 with a €7,500 personal contribution.

The voucher is practical and personal: during the intake, Food Pioneers will determine together with you which voucher, partners and resources are most suitable.
