Food pioneers
What we eat, how we grow it, and how we distribute food affects our health, climate, biodiversity, and social equality. Yet not everyone has equal access to healthy food. That is why Food Pioneers works on the plate of tomorrow.
We are an active and practical knowledge center for the food transition in Almere. By bringing together education, research, entrepreneurs, government, and residents, we put practical projects on the map that move from conceptual solutions to urban food landscapes and local food supply. Our focus is locally grounded with an eye for national impact.
