PROVINCE OF FLEVOLAND
The Province of Flevoland is the youngest province in the Netherlands and internationally renowned for its fertile polder soil. With strong roots in agriculture and innovation, Flevoland invests in sustainable food systems and research that contributes to the food transition. In this way, the province develops new knowledge and practices for a future-proof food supply in the Netherlands.

Municipality of Almere
The Municipality of Almere is the fastest-growing city in the Netherlands and plays a key role in the urban food transition. With a diverse population and an agricultural region as its hinterland, Almere is building an innovative urban food system. The municipality connects residents, entrepreneurs, and knowledge institutions to strengthen sustainable food innovation and inclusive economic growth. This aligns with initiatives within the Food Labs .

Horizon
Horizon Flevoland is the regional development agency that supports entrepreneurs in innovation and growth. Horizon strengthens the position of Flevoland's food entrepreneurs with programs like vouchers and investment funds. In doing so, the organization promotes sustainable solutions, circular chains, and a strong regional economy in the food and agricultural sector. This aligns with our Food Programs .

Aeres University of Applied Sciences
Aeres University of Applied Sciences is a leading knowledge institution for practice-based education and applied research within the food system. From its locations in Almere, Dronten, and Wageningen, Aeres trains professionals who contribute to a sustainable food supply. The university combines agricultural expertise with innovative programs and is a permanent partner within the Food Campus .

WAGENINGEN UNIVERSITY & RESEARCH (WUR)
Wageningen University & Research is a global leader in agriculture, food, and the environment. As a long-standing knowledge partner of Food Pioneers, WUR provides research and expertise for innovative food systems. Projects range from circular agriculture to urban food supply and align with our research approach in consumer research projects.

Food Industry Development Fund Foundation (SOL)
The Food Industry Development Fund Foundation (SOL) offers businesses in the food industry (LMI) a future. They help companies acquire the financial resources and knowledge to work towards lifelong development. Making the LMI future-proof requires collaboration and entrepreneurship. Together with Food Pioneers, this is strengthened through programs such as knowledge vouchers .

Food Connects
Voedsel Verbindt aims to make a difference in improving the sustainability of the food system in North Holland and Flevoland. By connecting businesses, government agencies, knowledge and educational institutions, and advocacy groups, food produced in the provinces is brought to residents' plates as sustainably as possible. This aligns with our Goed Maak (Well Made) program.

Food Innovators
Food Innovators is a joint initiative of Food Pioneers, Food Hub, Impact Hub Amsterdam, and Rabobank Amsterdam. The network offers entrepreneurs direct access to knowledge, financing, and a relevant ecosystem in North Holland and Flevoland. From the Natural Pavilion in Almere, we organize consultations and connect entrepreneurs with the right partners as part of our Food Programs .

Food Hub
Food Hub is a training and advisory partner in the food transition. Together with us, Food Hub organizes the Food Pioneers Program, offering training in business modeling, finance, and free publicity, so entrepreneurs can scale up faster and smarter. This aligns with our other Food Programs .

Impact Hub Amsterdam
Impact Hub Amsterdam supports impact-driven entrepreneurs with programs, networks, and workspaces. As a partner in the Food Pioneers Program and co-founder of Food Innovators, they strengthen the bridge between startups, investors, and the market. This aligns with our other Food Programs .

Windesheim
Windesheim University of Applied Sciences connects education and practice in Almere and Zwolle. Students work on practical projects related to food and the circular economy, bringing talent and businesses in the region closer together. Windesheim is a permanent partner within the Food Campus .

ROC of Flevoland
ROC van Flevoland trains skilled professionals for the region and works on the circular transition through public-private partnerships. Together, we opened the Verspil Me Niet Center in Lelystad as a place where educational institutions and businesses can work on concrete cases. This aligns with other initiatives within the Food Campus .

Rabobank
Rabobank is accelerating the food transition through Banking for Food and a global network for agri-food entrepreneurship. As a partner and co-initiator of Food Innovators, Rabobank connects entrepreneurs with financing, expertise, and launching customers. This aligns with our Food Programs .

Food Business Conf.
The Food Business Conference is the premier event for professional entrepreneurs in the food and agri sector. During the conference, you'll gain access to groundbreaking insights, expand your knowledge and expertise, discover inspiring innovations, and build valuable connections with industry experts, suppliers, and investors from around the world. In addition to inspiring keynotes and extensive networking opportunities, you can participate in familiar thematic sessions and a targeted matching program. These focus on crucial topics such as knowledge sharing, network expansion, financing, HR, marketing & PR, intellectual property, international business, and subsidies/vouchers.
